Soil & Plant Sample Collection Service

If you have trouble with sample collection for either soil tests or leaf and pasture tests , we can provide this service for you.

The service is mainly for farmers within 100km (or so) of Melbourne (Australia), for a fee of $75 for up to 3 samples. If you are much further than 100km from Melbourne, then I will need to charge a bit extra, however, I try to keep this realistic. The general rule is: $50 per additional 100km - up to 400km (or so). However, I will also ignore the travel charge if I can arrange two or three visits in the same area.

If you live further afield than this, it may make more sense to do things as part of a group of friends and neighbors, as I will need to charge per day and add in travel and accommodation expenses. Please note - at this stage, we do not do GPS sampling for precision agriculture.
